Protect yourself from loan fraud & spam
Loan scams are on the rise. A few simple habits keep you safe — and LoanBandhu will always work transparently, never asking for anything we shouldn't.
LoanBandhu will never…
Ask for OTP or passwords
We never ask for your card PIN, CVV, OTP or net-banking password. Anyone who does is a fraudster.
Demand upfront fees to a personal account
We never ask you to pay a "processing" or "release" fee into a personal UPI or bank account to unlock a loan.
Pressure you to act instantly
We never rush you with threats or "limited-time" tricks. Take your time; a genuine offer waits.
Promise "guaranteed" approval
No honest lender guarantees a loan regardless of your profile or credit score. That's a classic scam line.
Ask you to install unknown apps
We never ask you to download a random app or screen-sharing tool to "receive" your loan.
Contact you from unofficial channels
We only reach you from our official number 95190 66658 and emails ending in @loanbandhu.com.
How to keep yourself safe
- Verify the source. We only call or WhatsApp from 95190 66658. When in doubt, call us back on that number.
- Keep secrets secret. Never share OTP, PIN, CVV or passwords with anyone over call, SMS or email.
- Check the address. Our official website is loanbandhu.com. Beware of look-alike sites and email IDs.
- Never pay into a personal account. All legitimate charges are transparent and routed through official channels.
- Read before you sign. Understand the rate, APR, tenure and all charges — use our EMI calculator.
Signs of a scam
Upfront fees before disbursal
Asking for money "to release the loan" into a personal account is the most common scam.
Pressure, threats & urgency
Genuine lenders give you time. Scare tactics are a warning sign.
No verifiable details
No real office address, unofficial email IDs, or messages riddled with errors — walk away.
Verify with us before you act
If anything feels off — a call, message or "offer" claiming to be from LoanBandhu — pause and check with us directly. We're happy to confirm what's genuine.
